School notes:
I will be sending a paper home on Monday, November 3rd for parents to sign up for conferences.  Conferences will be held on Monday, November 24th and Tuesday, November 25th.

I have been assessing the children the last couple of weeks.  I am finding that many of the children do not know their numbers, letters, and letter sounds. It is important that you go over these at home with your children.  Children need to know these before they start kindergarten.

Starting this week, the children will be going to gym every Wednesday.  Please make sure that they wear gym shoes on these days. Also, once a month the children will be going to computers.  This month they will be going on Wednesday, November 12th from 10:30 to 11:10. I am looking for a parent to help assist during this time.  If you are interested, please let me know.

*I just want to mention that the four year olds that went to church on Tuesday did a fantastic job.  I am very proud of them!!  Remember, they will be going to church on the last Tuesday
of every month.

*A big thank you to all parents and grandparents who helped out at the Halloween party!  The children, including myself, had a great time!!!
